The Saddest Song

An extremely touching song that will make you cry; but with anger and frustration. This is my first musical rendition which is a result of Poetry and Combinatorics. ♪♪♪♪♪ ♫♫♫♫♫ How can I know what I do not know? ♪♪♪♪♪ ♫♫♫♫♫ ♪♪♪♪♪ ♫♫♫♫♫ Because I do not know what I know. ♪♪♪♪♪ ♫♫♫♫♫ ♪♪♪♪♪ ♫♫♫♫♫ And if I do not know what I do not know! ♪♪♪♪♪ ♫♫♫♫♫ ♪♪♪♪♪ ♫♫♫♫♫ How can I know what I know? ♪♪♪♪♪ ♫♫♫♫♫

Between Life and Death: Life begins where it ends and ends where it begins

Image
Between Life and Death: Life begins where it ends and ends where it begins My father expired on 13-Jan-2012 while my daughter was born a few months earlier on 17th Aug 2011. This painting depicts the stage of my life when I was between life and death. A new life that was born in the form of my daughter while an old life that was lost in the form of my father. Painting description: I have portrayed it in the way as below: I am putting fire to my father’s pyre. And my small daughter Tini is pulling my fingers from behind. While my father’s death brings loss of hope, my daughter born just five months back brings hope to my life. And I was between life and death. During this period, I once said my daughter when she was a newborn and cuddling her and trying to put her to sleep 'You are lucky you have a father, while I have lost mine'.

Pain in pleasure vs Pleasure in pain

Image
A comparison of the same situation in two different ways: ‘The first day in her life as a prostitute where she is being forcibly cuddled by her customer’ vs ‘A groom holding on to his bride on their wedding day’.  Both are losing virginity, but one willfully after a long process of match-making of finding the perfect partner while the other is forced to lose virginity out of circumstance such as poverty. While one feels "Pain in pleasure, the other feels pleasure in pain" Not very literally speaking, but ideally "Every girl would love to lose virginity, but only after they are wed"
