As you turn five
As you turn five
While
I long to see as you turn five,
You
and I, into our wistful memories, take a dive.
Since
I last wrote a poem, ages have gone,
So
much of love, except you, I haven’t known.
Wonder
how different would be this seventeenth.
We
been blessed in your company for time umpteenth.
As
you grow, no longer you may be fond of your name,
But
I call you Tini, hoping you would always remain the same.
You
are the sun, and our moon too,
Made
us stronger, while we were in blue.
Life
was bright even at its darkest hour,
Having
you aside, nothing made us feel, we had to cower.
As
you step into your fifth year,
I
must say, it’s time for you to cheer.
You
would find friends and family getting much closer,
And
the good few would aspire you to be their chooser.
While
you blossom into the world of innocence,
Let
me find words, that rhymes, and would make sense.
I
bid you adieu, promising to write one more on your sixth.
Surprisingly,
while you turn five, I am now ending with stanza fifth.
